Rubberized coir products

Rubberized Coir Mats/ Blocks

Mats or blocks made from coir fibers mixed with rubber for added durability and flexibility. Used for erosion control, landscaping, and as a growing medium. Suitable for urban green projects, playgrounds, and horticultural applications.

  • Description

    Coir fibres are transformed into sheets and are sprayed with 100% natural latex to provide, rigidity, elasticity and excellent ventilation. The fibres contain closed cells filled with air, which grant the fibre good isolation and resistance against moulding and rottenness in wet environment. They are also flexible, strong and hardly deteriorate at all over time.

Coir Weed Mats

Coir weed mats are natural mats designed to eliminate harmful weeds which affect the growth of the plants. Coco coir weed mats are made of organic coco coir fiber woven into sheets and bonded using Rubber plant latex. These Coco coir mats laid as top covers of pot. Coco coir weed mats are easy to dispose or recycle.

The coir sheet is cut in different shapes such as rounds, squares and decorative shapes such as ovals.

Coir pots and seeding trays

Coir Pots are made out of Coir Fibre and natural latex which is moulded to the shape. Ideal for nursery plant establishment as you can transplant the plant in the soil with the pot itself. Depending on the plant life we can customize the pots to suit your requirements. Coir Pots can be used along with Coco Discs as a readymade potting media for seedling in nurseries.

Coir logs

Coir logs are tubes filled with loose, but densely packed coconut fibre which is then wrapped with coir netting. These are used in many applications as they are flexible and easy to handle.

Coir yarn

Coir yarn is used in making different coir products that are made out of the fibre extracted from coconut husk. Coir Twine is generally of 2 ply, spun from coir fibre by hand as well as with spinning machines. The Coir Twine is of different grades, qualities based on the type of fibre used, the nature of twist, diameter etc.

Coir fibre bales (Mattress fibre)

Coir Fibre Bale is produced from 100% natural Fibre taken from Coconut husk, cleaned and compressed into Bales. Fibre is used as raw material for Automobile Upholstery ( Car Seats/Dashboard ), Geo-Textile, Coir Spring Mattresses, Furniture, Erosion control and Drainage Filtering and much more.

Brown coir is harvested from fully ripened coconuts. It is thick, strong and has high abrasion resistance. It is typically used in mats, brushes and sacking.

White coir fibers are harvested from the coconuts before they are ripe. These fibers are white or light brown in color and are smoother and finer, but also weaker. They are generally spun to make yarn that is used in mats or rope.
